An Ila Facial + Amatara Phuket | Spa Guide Thailand

After a really busy year and a hectic 5 days visiting my brother in Beijing this was not going to be an adventurous trip. The only things i wanted to do was sunbathe, eat, drink cocktails and lie flat reading with a few spa treatments thrown in for good measure. The spa at the Amatara is beautiful, with huge treatment rooms, an amazing open lobby and brilliant therapists. For facial treatments I was impressed to see they used Ila Organic skincare – a Cotswolds company all the way from the UK. The facial I had was excellent and I’d love to try a few more of their products.

Really truly, we did pretty much nothing for 10 days. Perfect! We did venture out for an evening at Phuket weekend night market which was fun – really good and extremely cheap street food.
