Products we love: L’Oreal Infallible Foundation

I bought this foundation on a whim on a rushed trip to Boots. I generally like a glowy light skin and will wear just concealer if I can get away with it however I was quite intrigued by it claims to be waterproof, steamproof(!) and 24hour wear, perfect coverage and no cakey-ness.

I love the texture – it’s kind of like a lighter Mac Studio Sculpt and very easy to blend. The finish is medium coverage but definitely buildable if needed. It’s matt but not flat matt, you definitely have a perfected finish but the skin still looks alive and real.

I decided to give it a run for it’s money by putting it on at 8am, work until 3pm, jump in a taxi and then running madly up a hill to make a train carrying my makeup kit. This is a true test of a matt finish foundation and I think it performed pretty well all things considering! A little bit of shine (I have a shiny t-zone almost all the time anyway) but it’s definitely long wear
