Chateau De Camon South of France Wedding Sneak Peek

So wow! Just got back from the most beautiful wedding at Chateau de Camon in the Midi-Pyrenees in South West France. Sam and Nick fell in love with the beautiful Abbey when driving around the region looking for a venue for their wedding. The Your Beautiful Face team were on hand to do the hair and makeup and looking forward to seeing their photographer Ed Peer’s images.

We stayed in a nearby hotel on top of a hill overlooking the Pyrenees. Helena the hairdresser on the job did my hair in the morning before the wedding. I do love a plait crown.

The Chateau sat in the middle of the village of Camon and overlooked the surrounding countryside. On a clear day you can see across the mountains to Spain.

The bridal suite was swoon worthy. In the attic of the Chateau but flooded with beautiful light. A romantic bathroom was next door where Sam had her dress hanging.

I could have spent a week wondering around the Abbey looking at all the beautiful details.

Sam went for soft and very romantic hair incorporating a plait and a tousled finish. Her makeup was very natural and whimsical. More of a feeling with a lovely watercolour finish. I set up my makeup station on a balcony with lovely light and in the shadows so the bridal party didn’t get too hot. Her bridal skirt and top were so special. I can’t wait to see her ‘first look’ shots and more pictures of her beautiful outfit.
