Afternoon Tea at Barnsley House

I spent a couple of hours with one of my oldest friends having Afternoon tea at Barnsley House in the Cotswolds. We both had the Cream tea (which we probably could have shared – two huge scones each). They offer a number of different options with Champagne, sausage rolls (er yum) and a huge selection of tea.

It’s hard not to love Barnsley House. It’s like being lucky enough to be friends with someone who has an amazing country pile that you get to hang out at. The staff are lovely, with a bit of pre-warning from my friend they sang me Happy Birthday and presented me with some cakes and candles to blow out.
