Celebrating 12 years of the By Jodie team
I love this stuff! It has become my new go-to for everything and I’ve only had it for a week. I carry it around in my handbag so I can reach for it whenever I need it.
Jodie brought me back a tube of Lucas’ Papaw Ointment from her travels in Australia (you can read more about that here). I love the retro style packaging keeping it simple but appealing in its bright red tube. The fact that it’s made from fresh fermented papaya fruit with little other added ingredients is a massive plus for me and gives it a slightly creamy-sweet smell but not too intense.
I would compare this to the famous Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream but I actually prefer the less perfumed smell of this product.
So far I’ve used this product for dry patches on my face, split ends (apply a tiny bit to the tips of towel dried hair), to tame eyebrows, keep dry ‘Autumn hands’ at bay, as a cuticle cream and the obvious, as a lip salve. It also says it can be used for boils, burns, chafing, cuts, splinters, open wounds, insect bites and nappy rash. So pretty much a wonder product then!
Let me know if you’ve tried this product and what you use it for in the comments box below.
If you’re not going to Australia anytime soon then here’s a link to buy online in the UK.
Love Topaz x
