Click here for some helpful advice How long will the trial last? The trial is approximately 1.5 hours for hair or makeup and 2.5 hours for both Are your artists insured? Yes, all of our artist’s have public liability insurance Do i pay for the artist’s travel? Yes, and all the details are in the terms and conditions below. What products does the artist use? None of our artists are affliated with a particular brand so all use a mix of high quality makeup products in their kit. If i’m not happy at the trial am i committed to book? No, and you are just liable to pay for the trial and any travel charges incurred. Can I book in a trial without paying the deposit first? Our artists are all very popular so we always ask for a deposit first to hold your wedding date in their diaries before booking in your trial. How long shall I allow for hair and makeup on my wedding day? your artists will work this out for you at the trial, however as a rough guide for approximate timings we suggest 2 hours for bridal hair and makeup and and 1 hour per person for everyone. Can I reduce the price of the package if I don’t include lashes? The lashes are a complimentary extra offered by us so we would not be able to discount if you prefer not to have them. Can I remove services once the booking is confirmed? It is at the discretion of the artist and the agency as we do have a minimum booking size on busy days. Can my bridesmaids pay you separately? All payment must come from whoever confirms the booking for simplicity. Our brides typically collect payment from their wedding party before final payment is due. How should I prepare for our hair and makeup on the day? We ask that you and anyone in your party having hair and makeup arrive with clean, makeup-free faces and freshly washed and dry hair (wet if they’re having just a blowdry). Be sure to avoid leave-in conditioners and hair masks. Terms & Conditions 1.1 We take a 22% deposit at booking time to confirm your artist for your wedding date. Paying this deposit is your agreement to our Terms and Conditions. 1.2 Your wedding date is confirmed only once we have received your booking deposit by credit/debit card payment or bank transfer. 1.3 Once the deposit is received you will receive a booking confirmation document confirming the details of your booking 1.3.1 The booking deposit is non refundable unless cancelled by the agency. 1.4 Any discount applied at booking only applies at this time and does not apply when adding on extra services at a later date. 1.5 All further payments after the booking deposit (at your bridal trial or before the wedding) are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks before the wedding date. 1.6 We take a 50% deposit of the remaining balance at the trial and the balance one week before the wedding date. This is paid directly to your artist(s). 2.1 We reserve the right to insist on a minimum bridal booking party size during our busy months and on Saturdays. 2.2 If you would like to reduce the size of your booking once the deposit has been paid this is at the discretion of your artist(s). 3.1 The cost of the artist’s travel is covered by the bride over 10 miles. Travel is charged at 40p a mile after 10 miles from the artist’s postcode and the same for the return journey. 3.2 If the artist is travelling by public transport the artist will give you a quote for this. 3.3 Parking costs are chargeable to the client 3.4 Travel is calculated at the trial by your artist(s). We will be able to give you an estimate at time of booking. 3.5 As we are a nationwide team we will always match the closest artists to your location however at busy times or if you would like to book our most popular and experienced artists this is not always possible. 3.6 If your artist has to travel for more than 2 hours from their home address for your wedding the artist may request you book them accommodation the night before. Ask your artist for details. 4.1 In the very unlikely circumstance that your hair or makeup artist is sick on your wedding day we have a team of trusted artists who will assist us in completing your booking. . 5.1 The trial is normally 1-4 months before the wedding date and is either at the artist’s home or salon. They may be able to come to your home. Your artist will be able to advise you of their availability and location. 5.2 During busy periods it might not always be possible for us to schedule trials at the weekend, particularly Saturdays. Your artist will be able to advise you of availability. 5.3 If you would like to have your trial at your home then travel is charged by the artist at the rate stated above. 5.4 If were not happy at trial with your hair and/or makeup and choose not to go forward with your booking you will receive back the deposit minus the cost of the trial at £55 for makeup or hair and £110 for both. If your deposit was less than the cost of your trial then the difference is owed directly to the artist (plus any travel charges). 5.5 It is the client’s responsibility to inform the artist of any allergies, medical conditions or sensitivities. All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the beauty artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. 5.6 Photographic/video images of the client, members of the booking or event may be used by the artist on social media unless the client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing. 5.7 If a second makeup and/or hair trial is requested the same fee applies as for the first trial. 5.8: Individual lash application is included in the price of the makeup service. There is no reduction in price for any makeup service if they are declined. 5.9 The packages include a trial for the bride only. However, trials for other bridal party members can be added on for an extra cost. 5.10 The client is still liable to pay for the hair and makeup trial even if they do not want to proceed with booking the artist for their wedding.
