Amy and Dil’s special day may have begun with a torrential downpour however the spirits within the bridal suite were far from reflective. Makeup artist Harriet and hairstylist Laura were on hand to ensure the ladies felt their most gorgeous through-out the day!
As you can see from the smiles, the wedding was a beautiful and energetic affair with laughter and love shining through!
I’m a massive watcher of youtube beauty tutorials. There ain’t no shame in using them as a really good learning resource whether you’re a makeup artist or not.
Here are my five favourite youtube makeup tutorials.
Before Charlotte Tilbury had her own youtube channel she did this very accomplished tutorial for Lisa Eldridge’s. This is a real insight into her pro kit before she had her own makeup range.
Pixiwoo show how you to do full but natural brows
Kylie Jenner’s makeup artist show’s you some major tips and tricks for a Kardashian style look
Rae Morris a technical genius – this is for the makeup geeks out there
How could I not include Lisa Eldridge. She has a vast library of comprehensive videos on everything from suncream to individual lashes. This is one of my faves.
I do love a Shustoke Barn Wedding (right round the corner from me and they’re always lovely) and Katie’s makeup was one of the fave’s of this year.
Katie wore a gorgeous Justin Alexander gown from The Bridal Room in Atherstone and we went for liac’y/bronzey smoky eyes with really perfect skin, subtle contouring and a gorgeous nude lip. Some of my snaps of her makeup are below.
I really love these photos by Katie Ingram photography.
